About Us
Baruch Hashem Messianic Congregation, is a faith-based house group gathering which meets every Shabbat morning and maintains contact with the broader Messianic Jewish movement.
We focus on Jewish-rooted worship of Jesus (Yeshua), combining Jewish traditions with Christian faith, and offering a community for both Jews by birth and Jews by choice to study Torah scripture.
We incorporate Hebrew, Jewish liturgy, and practices like observing biblical feasts e.g., Passover, Sukkot, etc.
We welcome both Jewish and non-Jewish (Gentile) believers who connect with this expression of faith.
Similar to the early church described in Acts, we share meals, study, prayer, and fellowship together.
Holocaust Memorial Broughty Ferry Dundee
Dundee has a dedicated Holocaust Memorial plaque located in Windmill Gardens, Broughry Ferry, which was unveiled by students from Grove Academy in 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, serving as a lasting tribute to victims of the Holocaust and genocide, featuring a quote from Anne Frank, and reminding people to stand against prejudice.
The inscription reads:
"To the six million Jews and the other victims murdered in the Nazi death camps and to all who have experienced the horrors of genocide and the destruction caused by prejudice and discrimination - We will remember".
Also includeded is a quote from Anne Frank:
"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world".
The memorial was a Grove Academy student-led initiative, supported by Dundee city council, and continues to host services on Holocaust Memorial Day (January 27th).
